The Macedonia-Evidence.org is inviting Classical Scholars
(Historians, Archaeologists) of the Graeco-Roman antiquity to sign a
Letter to the President of the United States of America Barack Obama.
The letter requests him to intervene and clean up some of the historical debris
left in southeast Europe by the previous U.S. administration which
unilaterally recognized the “Republic of Macedonia.”
This action unleashed a dangerous epidemic of historical revisionism regarding ancient
Macedonian land and its people's thoroughly and indisputably Hellenic roots and history.
The scholars are asked to:
Examine the evidence on the history of Macedonia
Present factual ancient historical documents
Take action on their scholarly duty to preserve historic truth and to
Stop the misinformation and inaccuracies concerning ancient Macedonia
and its king Alexander the Great
The list of international Scholars that co-signed and support the letter has grown to 349.
